Last Money Bomb Of 2007, Mobile Pages, And More

December 31st is the last money bomb of 2007 please give all you can!

Mobile Pages

The site is getting more complex and fancy... and isn't playing as nice with some mobile devices and accessibility devices, like screen readers.

For the mobile devices, I have created this page... I have an iPhone.. so it's geared towards that platform.

For non-iPhone users or people with other lower end browser needs, I have mostly resurrected the old index page and the old text stats page. They are linked from the bottom of the new mobile page...

More
It's been a busy few days.. the new main page, text stat page and the new widgets seem pretty solid to me now.. I'm pretty happy with how it's all turned out.. but nothing is ever set in stone.

I think these widgets are going to be pretty cool... I hope everyone puts them to good use :)

Don't like the new pages for some reason? let me know.. got bugs on your browser? let me know... cool idea for the widget? you know...

Thanks everyone!

I'm gonna be honest with you... I really really don't like the new front page. It loads slowly, looks bulky, and the extra features are really useless for me. I mean, REALLY useless. I've got no use for any of it.

Would it be at all possible to get a modifiable version of the old homepage? I know you put up the old index, but I liked the ability to choose what graphs we can check out on the front page, and that doesn't seem like it'd be too much trouble to put that functionality on the old index...

Again, though, great work on all that you've done for this movement, and may the new year shine upon you! :)

Hi Dan,

You know many of us nongeeks think of you as a god for all your graph wizardry, and hard work creating this site, but I have to agree with much of what aaron said. The new front page is very slow to load, or doesn't load at all. Right now it's not loading for me.

Thankfully, you kept the old index page, and linked to it in your today's blog message. I'm hooked so I was glad to be able to get my fix!

The best,
S

The new mobile pages doesn't work for me at all... gets stuck at the "Loading..." image on my BlackBerry. The BB browser has no javascript support.
